COAST PLAZA – P180 PARKING RESTRICTIONS

Coast Plaza recently introduced P180 Parking Restrictions at the centre, in response to feedback that it has become increasingly difficult to find available parking, especially in the Level 2 carpark.

KEY REASONS WHY P180 PARKING RESTRICTIONS WERE INTRODUCED:

· To discourage people from parking all day at Coast Plaza

o Tenants of neighbouring apartment complexes and staff of neighbouring businesses are consistently doing this.

· To deter car enthusiasts congregating in our carparks

o This is happening regularly, especially on weekends, and it eats up a lot of the carparks we need available for customers.

· To identify any stolen vehicles coming into our carparks / centre

o These cars also bring undesirable people and crime with them to the centre.

· To encourage our Coast Plaza retail staff to park on Level 1

o To free up the more accessible carparks on Level 2 for our customers who need the easier access.

PARKING RESTRICTIONS TO INCREASE TO 4 HOURS [P240]

While we believe that 3 hours of free parking at Coast is generous and is the same as other centres in the area, we have listened to your feedback. We are now taking steps to raise the Parking Restrictions at Coast Plaza to 4 hours [P240].

EXTENDING YOUR SHOPPING TIME AT COAST PLAZA

We appreciate that some visits to Coast Plaza can take longer than others, especially if you are here to see one of our excellent service providers. In these instances, if you happen to run over the 4 Hours of Free Parking, we invite you to visit our Centre Management Office on Level 2 (just inside the entrance from the Carpark) before you leave, as we can make one-off exemptions for valid cases. If the office is unattended, or it is the weekend, please email or phone on Monday and we will get it sorted.

Process for raising issues with Parking breaches / Fines

We are obviously disappointed that some of our customers feel they have been treated unfairly under the current parking restrictions. This is certainly never our intention.

In every instance, if you feel that you have been unfairly treated with your parking at Coast Plaza, please contact our Coast Plaza Centre Management – as they exist to support our customers, and our retailers, and they are always keen to help.
